Why is our logo missing letters?

You may have noticed our Kare Plus logo on social media has a few letters missing. We haven’t gone crazy, it’s all to help raise awareness of blood donating.

We are taking part in a campaign removing the As, Os and Bs from company names to help raise awareness of the drastic shortage in blood donations over the past year, with donation levels dropping by 24.4% compared to 2005.

Giving blood saves lives. The blood you give is a lifeline in an emergency and for people who need long-term treatments. Every year, the NHS requires approximately 200,000 donors to provide blood to those who need it most. So what are you waiting for?

The campaign is running until August 21. The issue at the heart of all this is: why are we donating less blood? Is it inconvenient? Is everyone scared of needles? We need to figure this out.
