Kare Plus Stoke are looking for caring, compassionate Home Care Workers to support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout Stoke, Leek, Cheadle, Trentham, Tunstall, Hanley and surrounding areas.

The Role

As a care Assistant you will need to be caring with a positive attitude and willing to support people in a variety of ways to include.

• Personal Care - Washing, bathing, toileting
• Companionship
• Transportation
• Meal preparations
• Light housekeeping duties
• Medication

Your duties will be varied dependent on the needs and wishes of each particular client, and may be a mix of personal care, home help services and companionship. No two days will be exactly the same.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU

In order to carry out this role we are looking for Healthcare Assistants who possess a naturally friendly and positive attitude and someone who are dedicated to providing consistent top-quality care whilst promoting the resident’s rights and choices as well as supporting to maintain their safety and dignity at all times. You must be able to display empathic manner and have the willingness to understand residents needs and wishes. You will be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

You will also require;

• Proof of right to work in the U.K
• An enhanced DBS check
• A full driving licence and your own transport is required as you will be driving from home to home.
