Kare Plus is proud to present a new partnership with young singer-songwriter, Harry Gardner.

Harry, 16 from Chelmsford, recently shot into the limelight with his new song, Not Alone. Written about his Nan who is currently living with Alzheimer's, the song is about his personal struggle coming to terms with the debilitating disease. So far the song has reached almost 900,000 views on YouTube, and the success of it has helped raise over £7,000 for Alzheimer's Research UK.'

'Alzheimer's Research UK is the UK's leading dementia research charity. The charity powers prestigious international studies that have the best chance of beating dementia sooner. Its scientists' ground-breaking work focuses on prevention, treatment and finding a cure.

While some treatments can help people to live with their symptoms a little better, here is currently no treatments to stop the diseases that cause dementia. This means that these diseases will continue to get worse over time unless new treatments can be found quickly. Alzheimer's Research UK is leading the charge to find these treatments and preventions. Alzheimer's Research UK receives no government funding, and as a charity it is completely dependent on the generosity of supporters to fund its research programme.

Alzheimer's Research UK is currently supporting dementia research projects worth over £34 million in leading Universities across the UK. For every £1 donated, 76p powers our research and helps people to understand and fight dementia. The remaining 24p raises our next £1 and funds essential running costs.'
