Kare Plus customer Tracey celebrates her birthday

We would like to congratulate Tracey on her progress since joining the Kare Plus Supported Living service. Tracey suffers from mild learning difficulties and has also shows signs of early diabetes.  When she first joined us she set herself several goals, the most important to her were remaining active and gaining a level of independence in her own home. Since last October she has made significant progress and really come into her own.

With the help and support of Kare Plus staff, Tracey now attends a football club at college and recently celebrated her birthday. Tracey and her housemate made the decorations for the party and travelled to the local supermarket for food and snacks. Tracey had a great day on her birthday, singing and dancing to One Direction while spending the day with her friends, family and staff members.

Supported Living is one of Kare Plus’ most valuable services. We love to give customers the freedom of care if they need it, but also encourage them to live a life without the confines of disabilities or illnesses. Thanks to Supported Living and the hard work of our excellent staff members, Tracey is achieving her goals and living an excellent quality of life. She will be visiting Chester Zoo in the near future, so expect to see some pictures!
