Shocking nurse hardship statistics revealed in Cavell Nurses' Trust report

Cavell Nurses’ Trust has recently released the results of its groundbreaking study into welfare of nurses living within the United Kingdom.

After speaking to over 2,200 nurses, the report discusses topics like financial security, personal health and domestic abuse - unfortunately with some very upsetting results.

Over 42% of nursing professionals reported having some form of mental or physical illness that has lasted, or is expected to last, more than a year. Shockingly, nurses are also twice as likely to be unable to afford the basic necessities that many of us take for granted.

This begs the question that when those who care for us need some care of their own, where do they turn? Thankfully, Cavell Nurses’ Trust is there to do just that.
